Hi, my charger suddenly stopped working. The light on the charger is green and not blinking red. We already tried simple troubleshooting techniques we saw on youtube. How can we fix this? We bought it just 3 months ago. The day it got broken, we didn't use the overboard much. It just suddenly stopped working. I'm very disappointed.

I tried looking up your order, but it doesn’t seem that you made this purchase from us. 

To answer your question, when the hoverboard charger light is green, but the hoverboard won't charge, or the charge doesn’t last very long, you need the following to repair it:

1) New Samsung / LG Battery.

I can say with 99% certainty that your battery was overcharged. We suggest replacing it with a hoverboard battery. This happens when it is plugged in for more than 3 hours using the standard charger that comes with 95% of hoverboards. If you paid less than $500 for your hoverboard 3 months ago, then you most likely purchased a knock-off hoverboard with the unbranded Chinese battery and a dangerous charger, which brings me to my next point...

2) Buy a Safe Hoverboard Charger 

You’ll want to protect your investment by purchasing a safe hoverboard charger that won’t overcharge your new battery.

3) How to Replace Hoverboard Battery

Repairing a hoverboard battery is quite simple. All that you will need is a Philips head screwdriver to perform the task. Just unscrew the bottom shells of your hoverboard, unscrew the battery cage, and replace the battery. Its that simple.
