Nick Kyrgios is no stranger to controversies and 2015 was especially terrible for him. First, he was booed by the crowd at Wimbledon for tanking a match against Richard Gasquet.

Then, Nick got into an altercation with fellow Australian Stan Wawrinka at the Roger Cup for insulting the latter's girlfriend. The ATP was forced to step in and it handed him a fine and a warning.

If that was not enough, he was dropped from Australia's Davis Cup squad. Then in December, someone hacked into his Instagram account and deleted all his photos.

But despite these events, he still remains in high spirits. For example, he was recently seen backstage at the Hopman Cup in Perth, riding a hoverboard like it was nobody's business.

He seemed to be in good spirits (maybe because he had beaten Alexander Zverev earlier) and was zooming around the site on the hoverboard. He didn't look like he was a novice at it too.

There were no jerky movements and he looked comfortable, as he moved the hoverboard around. Maybe he was trying to show off, as he is wont to do (all this time, he had his hands in his pockets). He even spoke to the staff as he zoomed around the venue.

Celebrities Love Hoverboards

Hoverboards have become a popular toy and many celebrities have been seen with them, including Mark Tyson, Justin Bieber, Lily Allen, Jamie Foxx, Chris Brown and others.

Thousands of units have been sold around the world and have become a favorite gift for birthdays and festivals. Nick Kyrgios antics on the hoverboard may be symptomatic of nervous behavior because his next match is against British legend Andy Murray and the latter is no pushover.

There is no doubt, Nick Kyrgios has a tough job cut out for him.

Speaking about upcoming match against Murray, Nick sounded gung-ho and said he had been looking forward to the engagement for the longest time.

Incidentally, Andy Murray was responsible for his ouster from the Australian Open, US Open and French Open in 2015. So he may be a bit worried about it though he won't tell us.

Until then, Nick can relax with his hoverboard just like other celebrities, snapped by the paparazzi while riding hoverboards in their free time.
